Add a list of all items in your inventory such as:

  • Items you buy: soda drinks, fruit, flour, vegetable oil, etc.
  • Items you make in your production cycle: Pizza dough, cake mix, ice cream, etc.

 

Columns 

  • Name: Inventory item name.
  • SKU: Inventory item stock keeping unit.
  • Barcode: Inventory item barcode.
  • Tags: The inventory tag that gathers inventory items that have similar characteristics. 

Filters 

  • Name: Inventory item name.
  • SKU: Inventory item stock keeping unit.
  • Barcode: Inventory item barcode.
  • Tags: The inventory tag that gathers inventory items that have similar characteristics. 

An inventory item can be created from Inventory -> Items -> Add new which will result in displaying:

Basic Data>

  • Name (en): Inventory item name in English.
  • Name (ar): Inventory item name in Arabic.
  • SKU: The inventory item stock keeping unit, used to identify and track the item in the inventory.
  • Barcode: The inventory item barcode.
  • Tags: The inventory tag that gathers inventory items that have similar characteristics. 
  • Purchase unit: The unit that will be used when purchasing this item or perform a purchase order transaction.
  • Storage Unit: How the item is stored in the inventory, for example, in Kg, box, Liter, etc.
  • Ingredient Unit: The unit of measurement for volume. This will be the unit used to link products with inventory items.
  • Purchase to Storage Factor: The factor between purchase unit and storage unit, in other words, the number that will convert purchase unit to storage unit. For example, suppose purchase unit: box, storage unit: packet, if purchase to storage factor is 10, that means 1 box contains 10 packets.
  • Storage to Ingredient Factor: The factor between storage unit and ingredient unit, in other words, the number that will convert storage unit to ingredient unit. For example, suppose storage unit: packet, ingredient unit: piece, if storage to ingredient factor is 10, that means 1 packet contains 10 pieces.

*Fixed Cost Per: If checked, the cost will be fixed (cost per storage unit), meaning, the cost will depend on this filed, otherwise, the system will take the average cost depending on the transactions.

Ingredients>

  • If the item has ingredients that are used to produce the item, this is the right place to input them with their quantities.

Minimum Levels Alert > Default levels

  • Level for branches: This is the quantity (in storage unit) threshold in all branches, if the stock level reaches this number, the system will send you a notification email to alert you. Inventory low stock should be enabled to get email notifications.
  • Level for warehouses: This is the quantity (in storage unit) threshold in all warehouses, if the stock level reaches this number, the system will send you a notification email to alert you. Inventory low stock should be enabled to get email notifications.

  • Branch: a particular branch that will have a customized quantity threshold.
  • Level: A customized quantity threshold.
